To participate in the NSE 2024 Startup Competition, the following requirements are needed. The candidates have to:
- Have an MVP or working prototype of the product or service;
- Be in a pre-seed funding stage or higher;
- Count on a dedicated and competent Team;
- Operate in technology and innovation sectors connected with the Space Economy;
- Have been selected for an incubation and/or acceleration program focused on Space Economy or Deep Tech (this is considered a preferential requirement – ongoing or Alumni).

Startups wishing to participate in the NSE Pitch Competition and in the contest must operate in the technology and innovation sectors related to Space Economy, to be in a pre-seed, seed, early stage, Round A, or Round B funding stage, must have at least an MVP or a prototype, and have an office or headquarters in Italy.

The Technical Evaluation Team responsible for selecting startups, formed by NSE 2024 industry experts and partners, will select the startups judged most suitable for the event and the final contest.

7. How does the contest work?
On December 17, starting at 5:00 PM, the startups will take turns on stage, with 7 minutes to pitch their ideas. The NSE 2024 Technical Evaluation Team will assess the presentations and compare their evaluations to determine and announce the contest winner.
8. What is the prize?
The prize will be awarded by NSE – New Space Economy 2024 and will be an amount of €10,000. Only the first-place winner will be entitled to receive the prize. Furthermore, there will be a Special Prize of €100k in credits to be used on amazon web services, this prize is assegned by AWS at its discretion to one of the 10 finalist startups.
