This year at NSE – New Space Economy 2024 at Fiera Roma, there will be a dynamic and interactive educational path within the event dedicated to high school students. They will have an engaging and stimulating experience that combines learning and fun, promoting personal and professional growth.
Through this path, young people will have the opportunity to meet and talk with industry professionals, explore the potential of virtual reality, attend simulations, and discover innovations in the field of robotics.
Guided experiments will also be organized, allowing students to put acquired knowledge into practice.
Additionally, visits to the stands of leading companies in the sector will provide a concrete and in-depth overview of the most advanced technologies.

INGV
INGV will be present at the Expo with a stand where visitors can interact with researchers and discover the application of space culture to Geosciences. On the occasion of INGV's 25th anniversary, special attention will be given to the use of space data in geosciences. Informative materials and technical-scientific demonstrations will be available both at the stand and online. Students can participate in thematic workshops with practical demonstrations.
ITALIAN AIR FORCE
The Italian Air Force will be present for three days at the Expo, offering an immersive experience in its world. Visitors will be able to admire the activities of the Armed Forces, try the flight simulator, and immerse themselves in virtual reality. Meetings and workshops will be organized to understand the activities carried out by the Air Force, including Space Weather. Additionally, there will be presentations and dialogues with aerospace sector experts.
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® activity in the education area will offer students and professionals a unique learning and development experience. Using LEGO® bricks, participants will build three-dimensional models in response to specific questions, fostering creativity and problem-solving. This innovative methodology allows for the exploration of complex concepts through play, improving communication and collaboration. For professionals, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® represents an opportunity to develop business strategies and team building in an engaging and productive way.
INVOLVE SPACE
Strato VR is an immersive experience developed by Involve Space that allows users to virtually experience the launch and operation of Stratostats stratospheric balloons. This simulation allows exploration of the ascent up to 20 km altitude, observing different flight phases and enjoying the breathtaking view of Earth from the stratosphere. Strato VR offers an engaging experience that makes the magic of stratospheric exploration accessible to everyone.
ENEA
ENEA will present innovative models and systems for space cultivation, including two models of the Greencube satellite and a controlled environment cultivation system. The Microgreens Cultivation System for space will also be displayed. The organization will arrange educational activities and demonstrations for schools and visitors, showing how plant growth occurs in vertical cultivation systems. Visitors will also see the products that astronauts will eat in future space missions.
IIT – ITALIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) will present its latest technological innovations. Earth Observation and AI for Cultural Heritage: We will showcase videos and posters on how Earth observation integrated with artificial intelligence can help protect and enhance cultural heritage. Energy for Space: Exhibition of innovative solutions for energy storage and transfer, focusing on space applications. Robotics for Space and Earth: Presentation of various robotic solutions developed by IIT, with applications both in space and on Earth. A non-humanoid robot will also be present.
SCUOLA SANT’ANNA
The Sant'Anna School of Pisa will showcase at NSE 2024 portable exoskeletons and wearable devices for the upper and/or lower limb and hand. These are innovative devices for rehabilitation, assistance, and enhancement of physical abilities. These devices represent the forefront of medical and assistive technology, offering new possibilities for functional recovery and daily support.
MYNDEK
Myndek is a company specializing in creating virtual reality simulations applied in various fields such as education, rehabilitation, and training. Two VR headsets, a QUEST PRO and a QUEST 2, will be showcased along with a Mindtooth, a device used to read brain waves. In virtual reality experiences, it is possible to collect all behavioral information such as touch, gaze, and spatial position. Thanks to the integration of Mindtooth, a device produced by Brainsigns, neurometrics such as attention, stress, and cognitive load can also be included in the simulation. This enables the creation of adaptive training that adjusts task difficulty based on the user's stress level through true neurofeedback.
ASITAF
ASITAF showcases a collection of stamps dedicated to space exploration, known as astrophilately. This collection tells the history of space conquest through postal documents. Astrophilately studies the historical, technical, and scientific aspects of space. The collection illustrates how humanity has crossed terrestrial boundaries, opening a new space era.
SASA
At their stand, several demonstrations will be carried out to showcase different space technologies such as:
• Sapienza Rocket Team (SRT): Three Rocket Probe prototypes (Minerva, Juno, Caronte);
• Sapienza Space Team (SST): CanSat and some picosats;
• Sapienza Technology Team (STT): CC-8 Rover.
SENSOWORK
Inside the stand, demonstrative videos will be projected, including screencasts of the platform for infrastructure monitoring. There will be informational posters and insights into key projects:

SEDS
They will host a variety of engaging activities at NSE 2024, including interactive workshops, expert talks, and networking opportunities. AVIO
Vega Mission Game by AVIO The purpose of the game is to help players understand the typical conduct of a Vega/Vega C mission. After drawing a "mission card" that describes the number of satellites the Vega launcher needs to place into orbit, players must try to position as many satellites as possible in the designated orbits (simulated by velcro-covered balls). The mission is considered complete when all the satellites have been released.

ScuolAttiva is a non-profit organization created by a team of professionals working in the fields of education and communication applied to corporate social responsibility.
